What joints do we treat?
Will this really work?
Dr. Anthony had the same question. Playing college football left Dr. Anthony with significant knee and shoulder injuries that led to having 9 knee and 1 shoulder surgery. He was told by the age of 40, he would require knee replacements. Besides surgeries, he tried a variety of treatments that included corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid (rooster cone) injections, ozone therapy, prolotherapy, physical therapy, acupuncture, cold laser, and even light therapy.
Unfortunately, the pain and debilitation worsened to the point that walking a block created excruciating pain. He was unable to play with his kids, go shopping with his spouse, and he developed depression.. The problem worsened to a point that his wife researched and presented this new revolutionary treatment. Despite the fear and potential frustration that yet another treatment failed, he went through with it. He went from not being able to walk around the block to completing a full Ironman triathlon in 2021 (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run). He was amazed that he did not have pain during or even after the race.
This treatment allowed Dr. Anthony to regain his life; therefore, we had to bring this therapy to our patients!
We understand the hesitance and apprehension to investigate another treatment due to the fear of failure.
However, what would it feel like if your joint pain reversed? What would you be able to do? How would you be able to live?
